Transformational Leadership Workshop and Interventions

Courageous Healthcare offers a competency-based curriculum on Transformational Leadership. Transformational leaders understand and demonstrate four core competencies to ensure goal alignment, foster a climate of excellence, and increase the motivation of subordinates and associates. The four core competencies are idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration.

A transformational leader engages employees in ways that encourage and allow employees to achieve their highest contributions to the organization’s purposes, as well as their highest sense of personal purpose. Transformational Leadership can change an organization’s culture, producing more effective leadership and better organizational outcomes.

Yet no culture change initiative is made sustainable through one or two workshops. For these reason, Courageous Healthcare includes in its Transformational Leadership Training package assistance in designing and implementing a mechanism for sustainability. The workshop and interventions include:

  • A competency-based curriculum
  • Training and practice in day-to-day habits for transformation leaders, and
  • Straightforward and simple mutual obligations between Courageous Healthcare and the hosting organization to ensure sustainability.

Our Transformational Leadership workshop-based program is designed to be intensive learning and intentional fun. We teach specific, simple skills and behaviors that make the core competencies come to life in practical and concrete ways. To clarify and reinforce these skills and behaviors we incorporate small group and role playing exercises as well as reflective activities.
